This Privacy Policy applies to the Hoir mobile application ("App"), developed by Frode Offerdal Jakobsen. This policy describes how we handle information when you use our App.

By using the Hoir App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

2. Data Collection Statement

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal user data.

The Hoir App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information about you. This includes:

  • No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information
  • No user accounts or registration required
  • No authentication or login systems
  • No data transmitted to external servers

You can use the App completely anonymously without providing any personal information.

3. Local Storage

All App data is stored locally on your device only. This includes:

  • Your progress through levels and lessons
  • Your preferences and settings
  • Your streaks and achievements
  • Any other App-related data

This data is stored using SQLite database (expo-sqlite) and remains on your device. We do not:

  • Store your data in the cloud
  • Transmit your data to any servers
  • Synchronize your data across devices
  • Access your data remotely

Your data will remain on your device unless you uninstall the App, at which point all local data will be deleted according to your device's standard uninstallation process.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Superwall

We use Superwall for in-app purchase and subscription management. Subscription data is managed through App Store Connect (iOS) and Google Play (Android). Superwall processes subscription transactions but does not have access to your personal information beyond what is necessary for transaction processing.

Expo Updates

We use Expo Updates to deliver app updates via Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. This service allows us to update the App without requiring you to download a new version from the App Store or Play Store.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We do not use analytics or tracking services, and we do not share any information with advertisers or other third parties.

5. No Tracking

The Hoir App does not track users. Specifically:

  • We do not use tracking identifiers
  • We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies
  • We do not engage in behavioral tracking
  • We do not display advertising
  • We do not collect analytics data about your usage

Your use of the App is completely private and not monitored or tracked in any way.
